Apprentice - from High School

This Region-only certification is for first year officials with Great Plains who have worked 3 years or more at the High School Varsity level who would like to continue training and working during the club season.  This is a one-year certification/evaluation process to see where the official is at.  With enough High School experience, a New HS Transition official should be able to obtain Provisional certification by the end of the season.  They should be able to follow the standards of the Provisional certification.

Requirements

• Attend a Great Plains Region Certified Officials Clinic

If you decide to register…

• Register with the Great Plains Region
• Submit and clear the USA Volleyball Background Screening
• Complete the SafeSport training
• Complete assigned USAV Academy coursework
• Be paired with a mentor
• Work with mentor a minimum 2 matches (R1 and R2)
• Work and complete a USAV scoresheet with mentor
• Complete the referee Exam C and correct to 100%
