WHAT IS GPR ALL STARS?
At the National level, the All-Star program is the “pipeline” of USA Volleyball for athletes who aspire to reach the elite level of the sport. It is intended to grow the pool of talented young players who want to compete for a spot on the USA National and Olympic teams. Each Region selects the elite players in their area via regional tryouts to represent the region and compete in the International tournament sponsored by USA Volleyball All-Star program.

Team GP Process
1) ATTEND TRYOUTS
Participation at All Star Tryouts is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to be considered for a team. It is difficult for our coaches to evaluate athletes based on video tryouts, however, if it is the only option, they will be considered and can be emailed to lindseysmith@gpvb.org.
2) ATTEND TRAINING CAMP
Selected athletes will be invited by the Team GP Coaching Staff following tryouts to participate in training camp July 17-20 prior to departing for Columbus, OH.
3) COMPETE AT THE USA ALL-STAR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Team GP teams will travel to the USA All-Star Championships in Columbus, OH and compete July 23-26 against the Nation's top competition!
TRYOUTS
PRE-TRYOUTS - $15
Not required, just an opportunity to get more reps in front of All Star Coaches & Evaluators.

NOTE:
- All divisions will use the Molten Flistatec Ball.
- All girls' divisions will play at women's college net height.
- All boys' divisions will play at men's college net height.
- U15-U19 divisions are only allowed 6 substitutions/set.
- U13 divisions are allowed 12 substitutions/set.
